AROC
Australian Rehabilitation Outcomes Centre
AROC (Australian Rehabilitation Outcomes Centre) is an entity operating within the Centre for Health Service Development a profit centre within the University of Wollongong. AROC collect clinbical data from over 200 clinics providing rehabilitation services throughout Australasia. This data is analysed and compared and each 6 months a comprehensive benchmark report is produced that for each customer compares their outcomes to the average for each imparment code. In addition AROC manage the credentialling of all the clinician's who carry out standard assessments. AROC will also cover palliative and ambulatory care.
Meridian was commisioned to build a new AROC solution with the following key functions:
- A new portal to manage the administrative requirements and bulk data uploads. This includes automated reminders and email notification of errors.
- Benchmark reporting - automated analysis and report generation
- Credential management system
- Online clinical data collection
Progress todate:
- A comprehensive AROC web portal has been built and incorporates the management of complex customer and contact details.
- The reminder system has been completed
- The data upload module has also been completed.
- A web version of the intelligent clinical data collection engine is being constructed
